Please take a moment to read about these charity
organizations that FAN is proud to help support in their efforts. We
accept donations at our stores and offer matching funds for some
programs. Please call or visit us for details.
Children's
Vision International helps orphaned and impoverished children
in Columbia
and around the world. They have programs to rescue and provide
immediate care to abused children, programs to provide food and shelter
to kids who need a loving home, and educational programs to set kids on
the right track for the future.
A vision
that started with three women wanting to help children has seen, with
teamwork, a growth into a large ministry that is reaching beyond Colombia.
Children's Vision International has sent out donations of clothes,
school supplies, medical supplies, etc. to other areas of the world
including India, Jamaica, Mexico,
Honduras, Guatemala, Romania,
Russia, Poland, Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia
and the Dominican
Republic. In the United States they have made donations
to people in the Appalachian Mountains and to the Indian Reservations
in Montana and Minnesota with winter coats,
mittens, hats and boots.

get a college education. The fund hopes to give out over $1 million in
grants in 2005. Scholarships are awarded based on need as determined by
county-level affiliates.
ASPSF also offers comprehensive computerized information
on financial aid for higher education named the Arkansas Scholarship
Connection (ASC). The main goals of the project are to assist students
in the search for financial aid and to guide them through the process
